This is a funny, slightly racy story you can get for free at www.rjsilver.com. It is a quick read, and it's sure to make you chuckle.

Have your Spanish dictionary ready. In addition to the fictional account this book gives some good insight into the historical perspective of the Trujillo regime. You need a magnifying glass to read the additional information. It is a good story, but many parts, though realistic, are difficult to read due to the inhumanity. Richard

A fun girls-only kind of book. The author's history is probably more interesting than the book itself!

All of the incoming Freshman at Ole Miss are required to read this book. I never would have read it if it had not been lying around my house. Great read. Amazing medical history.

A wonderful and heartwrenching story of one doctor facing the hard choices of elderly care when his father is diagnosed with dementia. Besides the love and memories the author has for his father, mother and family the book shows the medical facts and choices that many face with sickness and death each day. As one who is the "caregiver" of an elderly and sick parent much of the book hits home. A must read for all ages.
I picked this one up and thought that it looked awfully short (comparatively, I mean). Turns out it was only about half of the characters; the next book in the series will catch us up. Other than that, I haven't got much to say--if you liked the first three, you'll read this one no matter what I say, and if you didn't like them, you won't bother with this one anyway. I, needless to say, LOVED IT AND CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE OMG w:KNDVOPieFNESDAMCM;LKJASDPOFHE:FF!!!!!!!!!1

The original language of the piece is Icelandish, this is a Danish translated version. Ejner Mar Gudmundsson is a rather young auther from Iceland. Though he is not well known in the rest of the world, he is famous in Scandinavia, has recieved the most honourable literature prize in Scandinavia (Nordisk Raads Literaturpris, 1995). His works are translated to many languages in the area, also to German and some other languages, but I couldn’t find very many of them in English. One can observ Gudmundsson’s Reykjavik quite unique, as much as Roshdie’s Bombay.
