As much as I like Eco, I was not that pleased with this book. Yes it was spectacularly researched, as always, and yes, the plot was clever and intricate, but reading 440 pages of anti-Semitic ravings along with 5 pages of why it was written, is not much different from reading just the 440 pages of anti-Semitic material.

I absolutely love the entry story about yoga class, can soooo totally relate! I've read all of her books, some more than once, and the only sad thing is that I now have to wait for her next one! Ever need light, funny reading? Then Celia is your woman!

This was a gripping novel. The first chapter, setting the stage, was kind of slow and like 'ok' but then it picked up and like an arrow I was shot into the depth of the read and couldn't hardly come up for air! I loved Paul's telling of this story. It was fascinating, I'd never before had such an 'out of the box' experience and I enjoyed every syllable of it! I love the story of Paul and Kim's life. Good people doing good things in the world. Looking forward to your next story!

I thought this book was clever. It's told from the viewpoint of Doug, so the language is casual but authentic and the reader really gets to know him for who he is. There's no big plot or adventure, but it's just a good read. I recommend this book.
