This was also a pretty good book. Though I will admit that the stories that do not have Lord Harold in them seem to be a little slower than when he is in them. He is a good foil for Jane's thinking.

Flawed, incomplete, and embarassingly backward in spots. For pros, check out Bread by Hammelman, for amateurs, The Art of Handmade Bread by Lepard.

Ummm... what? I don't think I remember a single thing from this book, because it bored me to death... also I didn't finish it. I just threw it in a pile of discarded, unloved books.

This book is a book about a happy sweet optimistic adventurseeking(more like trouble-magnet) boy who escapes from the circus and makes a new freind. He realises he is not the only one with unusual powers... and searches out to free others like him. Gaining new friends along the way. This book is part of a series.

I have read this book many times in my life. For a while it was a book I read every year. This book is the King Arthur story told from Morgaine's point of view. She is a priestess, and many of the beloved characters from the story everyone knows so well are different. It is well written and well worth the time to read this perspective on the story. There are others in the series, but I have not been able to get through them - they just do not hold the same magic this book does.

Returning to her small hometown, Miranda James is looking forward to her newest video biography assignment. Although former High School classmate, Warren Addison is known for his privacy, she is confident she can get the scoop on his Bestseller book. Surprisingly, getting Warren to agree is easy. The shocker comes when Miranda learns her long time friend, and guy she's always loved, Chad English, is separated from his wife. When Bernie English gave her husband three ultimatums before he could come back home, she never thought he would call her on it. Now, with Miranda in the picture, Bernie can't help but feel threatened by the woman she's felt has always outdone her. Miranda is determined to help Chad through this difficult time. When she isn't over at Warren's she's lending support to him and can't help but allow her teenage feelings for him to come back. But as her interview with Warren progresses, the atmosphere between them change and she feels caught up between the two men. Warren has always watched Miranda from afar and has never understood the hold Chad has on her. Despite trying to win her over, he knows he can't rush her. During the Christmas Party, Chad and Miranda come close to throwing away what really matters to them. Just like Miranda promised, Chad is back with his wife and daughter, and she is with the man who has always seen her for who she is, Warren.

When you have two lovers, it is extremely difficult to just choose one.

Really enjoyed this book. At first it was a difficult start, then I began to love her natural world revelations and comparisons to human conditions. Have read chapters over again to get the full message. Kingsolver delivers a strong viable book on the natural world. I always want full character development and she did a pretty good job with that.
